With the NBA season coming to a close, today’s slate features games that have more meaning than any others thus far. We’re looking at the Grizzlies to take a decisive victory over the Mavericks and the Clippers to cover as underdogs against Golden State. As well, to tack on some safe value to this multi bet we like the Timberwolves outright against the reeling Jazz.

NBA Tips and Multi bet of the Weekend| April 14
Memphis Grizzlies vs. Dallas Mavericks
April 13, 5:30, FedExForum
The Grizzlies vs. Mavericks is a battle for positioning in the Western Conference play-in tournament. The Grizzlies must win for a chance at the seven-seed and home court advantage in the play-in while the Mavericks need a victory to have a shot at the nine-seed.
The Grizzlies have seen success as of late against the Mavericks, having won three of their last four matchups - the last two both coming recently, in 2025. All three of those victories have come by 11 or more points.
Dallas is just 1-5 ATS in their last six games and had lost three straight by 15+ prior to beating the depleted Toronto Raptors.
It’s a big game for both sides, but the history here leans towards the Grizzlies covering a reasonable 5.5 points at $1.90.
Golden State Warriors vs. Los Angeles Clippers
April 13, 5:30, Chase Center
In another Western Conference matchup with massive playoff implications the sixth-seeded Warriors play host to the fifth-seeded Clippers.
This game will be treated as a playoff matchup for both sides. With a loss from Golden State and a Timberwolves victory (who are playing the lowly Jazz) the Warriors would fall into the play-in tournament. The Clippers have a chance at the four-seed with a win but would need the Nuggets to lose to a Houston team that will likely be resting most of their starters.
The Clippers have beaten the Warriors in six straight, but given the stakes of the game for a playoff-proven Golden State roster we see the ML as a risky bet. Instead, with NBA betting sites giving the Clippers 3.5 points at $1.96, we like them to cover; which is something they do at the fifth highest clip in the NBA.
Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Utah Jazz
April 13, 5:30, Target Center
The Minnesota Timberwolves have more riding on this last grouping of games than any other team in the league. They have the potential to be as high as the fourth-seed with a win and as low as eighth in the crowded Western Conference with a loss.
At 8-2 in their last ten they’re peaking at the right time. They’ve taken care of the Jazz consistently in recent times having won seven of their last eight matchups. Add the fact that Utah has lost 20 of their last 22 and the Timberwolves ML looks like a safe bet.
At $1.01 the value is low, but with NBA parlay picks the odds stack up, making the bet well worth it.
