These teams played just days ago in the FA Cup. Chelsea created nothing in that match and would not have scored if not for a mistake from Bart Verbruggen. Brighton grew in strength as the game went on, but weren’t much better than the Blues.

Given the performances we saw last weekend the line set here by the betting sites is a bit of a puzzling one. Our EPL predictions don’t see many goals coming out of this match, so we are taking UNDER 3.5 Goals @ $1.60.

West Ham have not looked convincing under new manager Graham Potter. Some games they take 20 shots and don’t score and others they score two goals from three shots. It’s clear the Hammers are a work in progress, but they do seem to be building something.

Brentford, on the other hand, are a proven quantity. One of the things we know about them is that they are extremely poor away from home. The Bees have the third-worst away record and fourth-worst away goal-scoring record.

It might sound risky, but we like West Ham to WIN against Brentford @ $2.35.

There’s a real chance both Tottenham and Manchester United finish in the bottom half of the table this season. The Red Devils have slightly better form, with four wins in their last five matches in all competitions, but they don’t seem to be improving under Ruben Amorim.

Even when they win, both Tottenham and Man Utd struggle. That’s why we’re predicting a slow start in this match. It may end up being a cracker, but we like UNDER 1.5 First Half Goals @ $1.65.
