Best Multi Bet for Australian Open Women’s Final

The final match of the tournament is here in the women’s Australian Open, with Aryna Sabalenka taking on Madison Keys for the title on Saturday in Melbourne. One of them stands to win big, and you can too with the multi bet we’ve prepared below. Keep reading to find out how Australian betting sites can deliver you a 3.6x return on a smart multi bet this weekend.

Aryna Sabalenka vs Madison Keys

Melbourne Park, January 25th, time TBC

Leg one: Under 2.5 sets @ 1.50

Aryna Sabalenka has played a few matches against Madison Keys so far in her career. She won four of the five they played, and not all of them were in straight sets. The one at the 2023 US Open was in three sets.

The one last year in Beijing was in two sets, but even if not all were in straight sets, we think that she will win the final in two sets. There are a couple of reasons for that. First of all, she’s the better player, period.

Second of all, she’s played more impressively at the event so far, dropping only one set, and it was her worst match by far. Finally, she’s won this event for two years in a row, and it’s unlikely to stop this year.

While we understand that she can win the match in three sets as well, we think that the nature of the matchup makes it more likely that she will keep it to two. The Belarusian will be wary of giving Keys too much space because that’s how Swiatek ruined her chances of making the final in Melbourne.

Leg two: Under 21.5 games @ 1.50

Now you might think that this pick is basically the same one as the one above, and you’d be right. They essentially come down to the same thing; only this one carries a bit more risk because Sabalenka can win 7-5, 7-5, which would still be in two sets but not under this line.

Why do we think that the games will go under this line? Well, for the same reason we think that Sabalenka will win in two sets. Keys is by definition the most streaky player on tour.

The difference in her level day by day is tremendous and unlike anything we’ve seen on tour. She is good enough to beat Sabalenka 6-1, 6-1 at her absolute best but also lose 6-0, 6-0 on her worst. That sort of volatility makes Sabalenka the right side to back because she’s far more stable and consistent with her play.

On top of that, she knows better than to give Keys any kind of confidence, so we expect her to keep pushing and pushing until she finishes the match. Even a little bit of a pullback could create enough space for Keys to get back into the match and who knows what might happen then.

Leg three: First set under 9.5 games @ 1.60

This is another one that reads the same way as the other two, and you’re right. If Sabalenka wins in two sets, it’s likely that both the under on this bet and the under on the games overall hit. So why are we backing her to win the opening set without too many problems? For the same reason as we backed the previous two picks.

She is the better player and will likely start the match more smoothly. That should allow her to get an early break, and if she does, she is likely to keep the games under the 9.5 line. There is also the factor of nerves, which might plague Keys a little bit. She’s proven to be quite shaky in some big moments in the past, though by now she’s a veteran with many close matches under her belt.

It is a risky pick, more risky than the others, but we think there is good enough value because Sabalenka does tend to start matches rather quickly while Keys needs a bit of time.

Keys started slow against Swiatek as well, but unlike Swiatek, we think that Sabalenka won’t allow her to battle back. Everything said above just tells us that this will be Sabalenka’s day – and yours too once this multi hits.
